Downtown Neenah, in collaboration with the Neenah Foundry, envisioned an event centered around the art of manhole covers. We helped shape the creative direction and pitched the idea to feature local artists designing their own unique takes on these everyday objects.

Each participating artist was provided with a blank composite replica of a classic Neenah manhole cover and invited to design their own interpretation. The event proved to be a success, featuring over 20 talented artists, a small exhibit showcasing the history and craftsmanship of the Neenah Foundry, and a special collection of artworks from Storm Print City.

In tribute to the region's industrial heritage, our contribution to the event was a manhole cover design inspired by the rings of a tree slice, symbolizing the intersection of nature and industry. We also produced a limited edition series of prints based on our design, which were carefully painted, stained, and finished by hand.

These prints were prominently displayed during the gallery night, which brought the community together to celebrate both the local art scene and the legacy of the Neenah Foundry, its owners, and its dedicated employees. It was a vibrant celebration of creativity and craftsmanship that honored the town's rich industrial roots.
