We collaborated with iPaintMyMind and Adidas Originals in Wicker Park, Chicago to create an in-store installation, limited edition screen prints, and a public art activation.
Together, we developed a unique design based on a sewer cover printed in 2015 just down the street from the store. The partnership was emblematic of what IPMM and Adidas Originals mission of bringing communities together through art.
The mantra "Art is a Human Right" is true to IPaintMyMind’s evocative ethos of the need for art in every community. This art installation supported IPaintMyMind’s free and low-cost art programs in Chicago Public Schools.
The collaboration also included two days of in-store screenprinting using the design and messaging on limited edition, co-branded tees. Customers were able to print their own shirts or choose one that was already made. We printed 200 shirts in 2 days - all for a great cause.
